We are pleased to present to you the English translation of the Parkinson Disease study performed at the Parkinson organization Aragon in Zaragoza, Spain, by Marín Espangol, Laura et al.
Twenty-four patients with Parkinson disease were randomly divided into two groups: one group performed physiotherapy and Vibrosphere® training and the second group performed physiotherapy training only.
The group that performed the combined training consisting of physiotherapy and Vibrosphere training, showed a global improvement in the motor-nerve evaluation. The variables that had the most significant changes were those related to rigidity of the limbs, coordination, posture and balance. The group that obtained only physiotherapy training deteriorated virtually in all the studied variables, except for a few.
